Dead Rising 2; Not This Year

News broke back in February confirming the development of Dead Rising 2. A few details where released then, but nothing about an expected release date. Today, on Major Nelson’s podcast, an interview with Chris Kramer yielded the following quote.
“Capcom’s kind of on a 30 year high right now. It’s a pretty amazing place to be. Between everything we’ve got going right now, between the launch of Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5, and our big titles for next year, Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2.” – Chris Kramer
So, there you have it. Dead Rising 2 will not be hitting shelves for any console until next year.
