We’ve all seen the teasers that Infinity Ward have been slowly giving us, but the time has come for the full trailer to be release unto us. Let me just say “Holy Farking Crap”. I could go on, but you should just watch the video, so head to Modern Warfare 2′s site for the new trailer.

construction

A new bill proposed in Congress last week would force governments to build fiber conduit into the sides of all new roads that are built, allowing high-speed connections to flow naturally throughout the country. The cost of the fiber optic cabling are expected to be low and will be paid by private companies, but will definitely be a worthy investment due to growth in fiber optic usage in the future.

This is definitely something that needs to happen as soon as possible, don’t you think?

Review: Rock Band Unplugged (PSP)

rockband0

With the PC game release lists looking bare, I came across this little gem. For those that know me, you know that Portal is the greatest game ever conceived and that Guitar Hero and Rock Band (collectively) are the worst attempt at games I’ve ever seen. So, I guess you could say this is going to be such a horribly biased review that you really shouldn’t take much that I say very seriously. However, I will try my hardest to give it an honest and fair score breakdown. If you can’t deal with that, you should look away now.

Drive a Ferrari for Free

ferrari

So, I recently stumbled across this game. I will admit that it’s not a new game, but it is entertaining enough that I felt compelled to spread the word to you fair readers. Ferrari had a game made to showcase their vehicle line up. Currently, you can choose from the 599 GTB Fiorano, the 612 Scaglietti, or the 430 Scuderia to race around the legendary Mugello circuit.

By no means is an auto manufacturer-funded sim racing game something rare, but you can’t beat the price of Ferrari Virtual Race and they are planning to expand the game in the future, to feature more cars and tracks. There are also plans for multiplayer abilities in the future, with some exclusive prizes for the best drivers. So, head over to Ferrari’s site to download the free game!

Circuit City Back From the Dead

circuitcity

As of today, the Circuit City name is back in business, although not to the extent it was before. Since it’s closing earlier this year, the Circuit City name has been bought by Systemax Inc., a sister company to Tiger Direct and the new owner of CompUSA. Although no brick and mortar store will be revived, the Circuit City website has been relaunched and is open for business. While the website has been modified since its closing, it is not for the better. The new website seems very cluttered and much like other big outlet sites, not a good thing. Some vast improvements have been made however, such as lower prices on many items and on shipping, with some items being able to ship next day air for only $1.99. They also claim to have a wider selection of products than ever before. Being that this store is now website only, it’s hard to tell how this will turn out. But one thing is for sure, this is the Circuit City you have grown to love as the competition to Best Buy, unfortunately.

Windows 7 Branding Found in China

windows7branding

It seems like the branding and packaging expectations mentioned last week turned out to be a false alarm. In China, it turns out they already released the branding and looks of Windows 7 at a conference of sorts. It looks mighty official and real. Check out the photos here.

Tell us what you think.

News Team Finds Geek Squad Inept

geeksquad

Many here probably know the reputation that Geek Squad has made for themselves. To make matters worse, an Oregon Fox News team set out on an undercover mission to see what computer repair establishments could fix a simple problem, an unplugged IDE cable from the hard drive.

Several of the PC repair shops fixed the problem within minutes at no charge, including one of the Geek Squad locations. The second Geek Squad location they went to charged them $70 for a diagnosis. After two days of waiting, Geek Squad called back and said the hard drive was broken and that they would have to charge, get this, $580. Geek Squad also mentioned that they found a virus (on an already broken hard drive?) and suggested that they buy a new PC rather than fixing the current one.

Watch the full undercover video here.

New Modern Warfare 2 Trailer Released

mw2

A new Modern Warfare 2 trailer has released. According to the video’s description, it’s an “exclusive gameplay teaser”. That leads me to believe that all the footage within the video is real, in-engine and more importantly, in-game footage. If that is the case, MW2 promises to have amazing animations and model design (did we expect much less?). But I think I’ve gone a little too geeky, so I’ll just stop typing and leave you with the video.

cowboysscreen

The new massive display at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium weighs 600 tons, is 180 feet long and 72 feet tall. It’s made of 10.5 million LEDs. Just imagine how long four buses would be if they’re parked end to end. That’s how long the display is.

This new display beats the old record of the world’s largest display at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, MO, which measures 105 feet tall and 85 feet wide.

Watch a video of the new screen’s debut here.

virginamerica

AirTran should’ve knocked on wood when they said that they would be the first airline to implement WiFi on all of their flights. Virgin America just beat them to the punch.

Virgin America announced yesterday that they have implemented WiFi on all of their 100 daily flights. It’s not free though. It’s $12.95 for flights three hours and longer, $9.95 for flights less than three hours, $5.95 for red-eye flights, and $7.95 for handheld devices.

The prices might be a little steep for some, but you paid several hundred dollars for the flight anyway, why not spend just a couple extra bucks?
