Antec Unveils New Case, Brings Ugly Back
By Craig Lloyd on Jun 5th, 2009 at 1:22AM

Antec has unveiled their newest entry-level case, dubbed the Two Hundred. It’s supposed to be just a step below the Three Hundred, but honestly, as far as looks, it’s much worse than the Three Hundred. The new case also sports a first ever front 3.5″ hot-swappable bay for quick plugins of SATA hard drives. Kind of cool, but almost completely unnecessary.
It’s estimated to sell for $60. No word yet on availability.

I think the look of the case is subjective. The hot swap feature is one i’ve never seen on any other case before. Plus the price is great.

1st!
3.5 hot swap is a great feature. As for the case look, it’s okay. Not a big fan but hey, it’s cheap and 60$ in the street means it’s at least 55$ and below. I mean look at the 300, it’s a 55$ case in newegg.

Yes, the look of the case is subjective, but it barely follows the Hundred series theme, which is kind of disappointing. I’d rather spend a few bucks more to get the Three Hundred (which I have).

it don’t matter how ugly it is..it’s still only 60 bucks..

Only 60 bucks? You could easily save up ten more dollars to get the step up from the Two Hundred, the Three Hundred. It’s actually $55 right now on Newegg. The choice is easy.
