Seagate Debuts FreeAgent Go Dock+

freeagentgodock

Along with new, not-that-exciting additions to their external drive lineup for Macs, Seagate has introduced the FreeAgent Go Dock+, which is basically like the original dock, except it has 3 added USB ports. It could be rendered useful, but the ports are located in the back, making it kind of inconvenient. Nonetheless, they’re still USB ports and no one can have enough USB ports. The new dock will cost $40 and comes with a carrying case.

Review: Ghostbusters (PC)

ghost0

Merely from recent history, I feared for the worst with Ghostbusters. Movie adaptions almost never go well, but it seems that Ghostbusters translates very well into a video game, especially if you’re a fan of the movies. Ghostbusters is voiced by the original actors who also lent their likeness to the their digital Ghostbusting counterparts. Granted, these actors have aged since the last Ghostbusters movie, but in the game, they are as young and better than ever. The script of the game is even written by the same people that penned the movies. And as you would expect, the writers managed to mix light-hearted humor and suspenseful environments perfectly.

Most of us know that Call of Duty: World at War featured four-player co-op through the game’s campaign as well as a survival zombie mode. Infinity Ward has chosen with Modern Warfare 2 to not add a campaign co-op, but rather craft special missions designed for co-op, a two-player Special Ops mode. This way, Infinity Ward can design the campaign to provide the best experience possible in single player.

CoD4 Logo (Transparent)

Yes, that’s right. We’ve decided to start our own Call of Duty 4 server for the heck of it. It’d be a less formal way to interact with our readers and give the staff, and CoD4 players in general, the opportunity to blow off some steam. We’ll also probably start implementing a couple of game nights every once in a while where loyal Olive readers can play against the staff. Stay tuned for that.

All the details can be found here.

Seagate-BA

Seagate announced today a few new additions to their robust BlackArmor storage line.

The new BlackArmor NAS 220 is the younger, sexier sibling of the 420 and 440 models. It’ll come in capacities of 2TB and 4TB and will arrive in late July with price tags of $449.99 and $699.99 for the 2TB and 4TB, respectively.

The BlackArmor WS 110 is basically the same as the FreeAgent line except it’s been given a major face lift. The new drive supports both USB 2.0 and eSATA. It comes in capacities of 1TB and 2TB and is available now for $159.99 and $309.99, respectively

The BlackArmor PS 110 is the sexiest of all. Along with the dock, this new 2.5″ portable drive looks very intoxicating with the sleek black finish. Sadly, it’s only available in 500GB for $159.99. Just like the WS 110, it’s available now.
