Gran Turismo 5 Release Date Confirmed?

GT5

According to a preorder listing on Play.com, GT5 just might see a release date this year. For the ship date, Play.com has put November 27th. When PS3Hype contacted Play.com about the release date, Play.com had this to say:

Please be advised that the release date currently listed on the website, the 27th November 2009, is as given to us by the publisher / manufacturer of The Game. Should this release date change we will update the website accordingly, so it is worth checking Play.com periodically.

So, perhaps speed junkies will get their fix of GT5 this year.

There’s really nothing else that has changed about the drives other than the new 640GB capacity, still has the same USB 2.0 interface. Battlefield 1943 Demo, but No Beta

battlefield

EA recently announced that their newest upcoming game in the Battlefield sereies, Battlefield 1943, will not be going into a public beta testing stage. Instead, they will be releasing a demo. Despite our best efforts, we couldn’t find out for sure if the demo will come pre-release, with release or post-release. Although with the way they’re treating the demo, I think it’s safe to assume it’ll be a pre-release. To make things even better, the demo was not confirmed or denied for PC. It’s hard to say what timeline to expect because the Xbox and PS3 versions are set for release this summer, while the PC version is expected later in September.
