Because the packaging of the KontrolFreek attachments were rather simple, it was kind of pointless to stage a dramatic unboxing. So instead, we’ll give you a teaser image (see above) and an exact date of when to expect to see the reviews. On the left controller you will see the SpeedFreek attachments on the thumbsticks and on the right controller you will see the FPSFreek attachments.

You should expect to see our reviews for each of the two attachments on July 1st, set to coincide with KontrolFreek’s new site soft-launch.

shoplifter

Oklahoma City police caught a woman (pictured above) shoplifting at a local Target with 33 Blu-ray discs shoved down her pants, nearly $1,000 worth.

The shoplifter was also charged with assault and battery due to biting and clawing at employees that were trying to stop the wrong doer.

If she wants to illegally obtain movies, she’s going about it entirely the wrong way. Do it right for Pete’s sake.

sdxc

Kevin Schader, the SD Association’s Director of Communications, announced that SDXC cards that store up to 64GB of storage would be arriving early next year. The cards will have transfer speeds of 52MB/s. Supposedly this will pave the way for 2TB cards with 300MB/s transfer speeds, but Schader didn’t know exactly when that would happen.

Street Fighter IV Benchmark Tool Released

Today, Capcom has released a benchmark tool for gamers to see how well their PCs will run their upcoming game, Street Fighter IV.

I always thought it was a bit odd when developers would waste their time on making a benchmark tool instead of working on the actual game, but I have no control over how they manage their time so I can only wonder. If you’re interested if your PC can run the upcoming fighting game or not, download the benchmark tool from GamerHell.

With my old AMD dual core, I managed a final testing average of  85FPS. Not bad, but I was expecting Street Fighter IV to be a system hog. Although it does seem to rely on the GPU a lot. My CPU usage was only at about 75-85% load during the benchmark. How does your PC run it? Let us know.

I never played much of the original, but I hope to log many hours in this upcoming sequel. Who knows, maybe there will be a review to be had out of the experience. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the status of the demo.
