Portal Coming to the iPhone?
By Tim Hage on Jul 17th, 2009 at 11:44AM

So, I officially need to buy an iPhone now. It seems a small team of coders, given three weeks, have created a single-level testing ground in the Unity engine. What’s so special about that single level? It is an unofficial port of the amazing game Portal. Yes, with working portals. But, unfortunately, no Companion Cube or cake to be seen. Now, there’s still some speculation as to the genuine and legitimate nature of the demonstration, so don’t get too excited. But, enough talk, follow the break for the video.

spectacular. i just hope they didn’t build it to only work on the iPhone 3GS (since it’s so much more powerful)

The controls definitely would take some time to get used to, but looks like it would be a nice game on the go.

That’s amazing. Couldn’t see you owning an iPhone without commiting suicide though Tim

I’ll second Dylan. :D

Agreed. However, I doubt we’ll ever have to see for sure. I saw neither a Weighted Companion Cube nor a cake of any form. As a result, there is no motivation….right? Right?!

I forgot how much of nerds you guys were.
