Today Apple announced, in a somewhat quiet manner, the release of Snow Leopard to the public. While it is only in pre-order at the moment, it will be delivered to homes and sold at retail stores this Friday. Available as a single user upgrade for Mac’s purchased after June 8th for $9.99, a regular single user upgrade for any Intel PC running Leopard for $29, a family pack for up to 5 users at $49 and single user Intel PC’s running Tiger for $169 and includes iLife ’09 and iWork ’09. For those of you out there running Mac servers, there is an unlimited client edition for $499. So jump on the phone (because the Apple.com ordering is currently down) and order your copy of Snow Leopard to ensure you have the latest and greatest OS for your Mac.
