Sony announces slimmer PS3

This should be no surprise as this has been rumored for quite some time, but Sony officially unveiled a slimmer PS3 at GamesCom. It’ll be out the 1st of September with a price tag of $300. It’s obviously smaller and lighter, but also packs a 120GB HDD and has all the same features of the original PS3. Speaking of the original PS3, all current PS3 models will get a $100 price chop.
