2K Games has finally announced a solid release date for Bioshock 2. On February 9th, the game will finally grace the shelves and our desks. Now, here’s hoping the game isn’t met with further delays.

Risen PC Release Confirmed, Console Delayed

In a turn of events that is almost completely unheard of these days, the PC version of Risen has been scheduled for an October 2nd release date, while the console version has been met with delays. The console release has been pushed into 2010 with no explanation for the delay.

Zotac Announces Batman GPU

As if merely playing the game isn’t enough, GPU manufacturer Zotac has announced the “Zotac GeForce GTX 285: Batman Edition.” You guessed it, they use the theme of Batman: Arkham Asylum. While there are still no details regarding the price or availability, the card is just a stock GTX 285 with no special characteristics. The only incentive to actually purchasing this card is that Zotac is including a free copy of Batman: Arkham Asylum with each GPU.

The Witcher 2 Video Leaked

The first official video of The Witcher 2 has been released leaked. The footage contains 5:22 of internal footage from an early alpha build of the game and various footage of the development studio. ANOTHER Edition of MW2 Announced

As if there aren’t enough editions of Modern Warfare 2, Activision has announced yet another. Only available through GAME (Online UK retailer) the Veteran Edition is basically the same as Prestige Edition, but instead of a head mold and some nice NVGs, you get a statue of Soap McTavish. And, you guessed it, it’s only available to Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers. Is there something that PC gamers did when they made CoD4? Do we smell bad? Is our money that different? The Smashing Pumpkins

The Smashing Pumpkins, a veteran alternative rock band, have announced that they will release their upcoming album titled Teargarden by Kaleidyscope, which will feature 44 songs, entirely free of charge. Billy Corgan, lead guitarist, says that the band will “release a song at a time beginning around Halloween of this year, with each new release coming shortly after until all 44 are out.”

Corgan also says the band plans to sell highly limited edition EPs and once the entire album is finished, fans will be able to buy a deluxe box set.
