Review: Resident Evil 5 (PC)

evil0

The Resident Evil series is one that I have never had a great relationship with over the years. Many times I have tried to play and enjoy previous games in the series, but I could never quite learn to appreciate, let alone enjoy them. This isn’t to say I thought they were bad games, but there was several aspects of the games that annoyed me too greatly. The biggest problems in the past being the fixed camera angles, which was remedied by RE4, and the annoying inventory management systems.

Not long after Seagate released their record high 640GB FreeAgent Go, they have now added gargantuan 750GB, 880GB and 1TB models to the list. No word yet on price or availability. Seagate’s website seems to have them on back order with no price listed.

Seagate_DockStar

Who would’ve thought that Seagate would be coming out with network adapters? It makes sense though because it ties in with their FreeAgent Go drive. The DockStar network adapter, as it’s called, will allow the FreeAgent Go to be turned into a network drive where it can be accessed anywhere in your house. It will also includes three USB ports, allowing the connection of even more storage over your home network. You can grab one these now for $99.99 from Seagate’s website. It comes bundled with one year of Pogoplug service for remote access and sharing, but $29.99/year thereafter.

Seagate has just released a newer FreeAgent Theater that promises to enhance “the enjoyment of digital home movies and photos.” This time, the media player comes with your usual component, composite and USB ports, but it now has HDMI (1080p output), Ethernet and an optical wireless connection port, which is expected to be available to use next month.

You can grab one of these for $150, but you’re probably better off getting the bundle with the 500GB FreeAgent Go drive for $290.

We hope to get an unboxing, hands on and a full review to you guys soon.
