Top 8 Zombie Video Games

Tech Olive is stepping up to the widely popular idea of categorizing pretty much everything. We’ll hopefully bring you lists of the best search engines, lists of the best washer and dryer pair (on sale!), even lists of the best lists! Whew, lets not get ahead of ourselves. We’ll start off our first list with something everyone can enjoy — Best Zombie Video Games. Of course, each list will contain my own sarcastic twists.
8. Killing Floor.
- Cheap knock off games have a special place in my heart — the bottom of the list. I mean, we can’t ALL be L4D, but this is just pathetic.
7. Urban Dead
- Here’s one that actually kept me entertained for more than 5 minutes. Of course, within the 6th minute you figure out you’re in the middle of nowhere with no guns, no more “moves”, and no one will let you into their safe zone.
6. Zombie Panic Source
- Wanna be scared? Not because the zombies are so disgusting or to find you’re out of ammo and surrounded, but because the servers are full of screaming 12-year-olds.
5. Resident Evil 5
- Didn’t know where to throw this one within the list actually. It has its great parts and then it has its crap parts. Middle of the list it goes.
4. CoD: WaW Nazi Zombies
- Sure, Nazis are bad and zombies are pretty horrible, but who has the balls to combine the two into Nazi zombies! Of course you can’t have your cake and eat it too. The original game only shipped with 1 map.
3. Dead Rising
- Here we go! Wanna spend hours and hours killing zombies with pretty much anything you can get your hands on? Well, do I have a game for you! The only problem is the ridiculous storyline, but I still can’t wait for Dead Rising 2.
2. Plants Vs. Zombies
- Who would have thunk it, plants killing zombies? This is probably the most original idea for a game in several years. The game truly is a work of art. It’s quick and simple. Too bad the maps are repetitive and once you’ve beaten it, the appeal goes away quickly.
1. Left 4 Dead
-This is where it’s at. How can you have a top 8 zombie video game list without Left 4 Dead being #1? You and 4 mates can run around and kill swarm after swarm of the undead. The fun never stops. Bring on Left 4 Dead 2.

What about the Super NES classic, Zombies Ate My Neighbors?
