Firefox 3.6 Beta Coming October 13th

Mozilla has said that the first beta for Firefox 3.6 will be arriving next Tuesday, October 13th. This beta will include better page rendering speed, an improved TraceMonkey JavaScript engine, some additions to the CSS technology, optimized sessions restoration, and lightweight themes.
Don’t get too excited for 3.6 though, because it won’t be a major update. Firefox 4.0 will be the next big version of the open source browser, which isn’t expected until October of 2010 at the earliest.
