In the event that you do drop the soap, don't forget your riot shield.

Infinity Ward has officially released the minimum requirements for playing MW2 on your PC and they are actually pretty impressive. It seems the game’s engine has taken a step towards CoD4‘s performance and away from the resource-hogging World at War. Follow the break for complete minimum specs.

Australia to Get Censored Left 4 Dead 2

Nothing like a good bonfire.

There has been plenty of controversy over Australia’s lack of an 18+ rating classification, thus causing many games to be banned or censored. Valve appealed to the rating board that the rating be added and, from reports, it seemed that the addition of the new rating was a go, except for one member of the board. It seems that he stood his ground and the appeal was denied. Australia has been confirmed for a censored version of Left 4 Dead 2.

Windows 7 Whopper, see full image after the break!

Out of all the advertising campaigns that Microsoft has done for Windows 7, this is our absolute favorite. Anyone after that get’s it for ¥1,450 ($17.10). We would definitely buy one, would you? See the full advert image after the break. Continue Reading »

Blu-Ray Coming to the Xbox 360…Sorta

"To put Bill to sleep, I do this to his head. SEE?! He's falling asleep just watching me do it!"

During an interview with Gizmodo, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer seemed to have indirectly confirmed the future of Blu-Ray on the Xbox 360. In response to a question, Ballmer said, “Well I don’t know if we need to put Blu-ray in there—you’ll be able to get Blu-ray drives as accessories.” What’s important to note is that this does not mean the Xbox 360 will be able to run games off of the Blu-Ray drive. It’s more than likely the add-on drive will only function as movie players due to the USB transfer speed limits. Head over to Gizmodo for the interview video.

Review: Seagate 1TB FreeAgent Go

1tb-freeagent-go-top

It’s now getting to that point where higher capacity bus-powered hard drives are becoming more mainstream. Storage companies slowly started creeping up to 500GB and until just recently, it was stuck there. Now they’ve discovered how to fit more layers into the portable 2.5-inch platform, meaning twice the storage space. Seagate’s 1TB portable FreeAgent Go drive is a great example and they gave us the opportunity to check it out for ourselves.
