Western Digital has unveiled a new feature on their My Book Studio and My Book Elite by putting a small display on the drives themselves that show the device’s label and free space. These new drives will come in flavors ranging from 500GB to 2TB. The My Book Studio will be priced from $149.99 to $299.99 depending on size, and the My Book Elite will cost anywhere from $169.99 to $279.99.

The company also beefed up their My Passport Elite to include a USB dock, illuminated capacity gauge, a secure “drive lock” indicator, and 256-bit hardware-based encryption (which is also featured on the the My Books). The drive comes in capacities up 640GB, which will run you $169.99, and comes in Metallic Red, Metallic Blue, or Charcoal Metallic.
