Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days Announced

Mmmm pink...

Those that remember Kane and Lynch: Dead Men back in 2007 will remember that it was bug-filled, but ultimately an entertaining  and unique co-op title. Today, Square Enix Europe (previously IO Interactive) announced their plans for the game’s sequel. Unfortunately, details are still pretty bare, but we know that Kane and Lynch: Dog Days is set for a 2010 release and is coming to the PC with no other platforms announced yet. If you’re dying for details, you can check out the game’s official site for some interesting short clips with more promised later.

Twitter Introducing New Retweet Feature

twitter-retweet

It seems that Twitter is introducing yet another feature to a select few. This time, it’s a retweet feature that changes the way retweets are shown. Instead of the “RT” you’ll see a small, gray image with rotating arrows. Then, below the retweet you’ll be able to see who retweeted that tweet.

Already I’m not a huge fan of the change, but maybe I’ll come to love it. Let us know what you think.

Modern Warfare 2 Censored in Russia

I had something awesome for this one. But I forgot it. *insert something about farting in the closed elevator here*

Thanks to the graphic and potentially disturbing nature of the “No Russian” mission in Modern Warfare 2, Infinity Ward was forced to add a message warning gamers of the mission and offering the option to skip it. Apparently, that wasn’t enough. In Russia, Infinity Ward has removed the mission entirely from the Russian copies of MW2 after warning of the game being banned.

There's word of Infinity Ward starting a petition demanding all petitions be closed. More on that later.

Because the previous petitions were so successful (note the sarcasm), PC gamers have decided to take another swing at getting Infinity Ward to make Modern Warfare 2 a little more playable to gamers that rely on competitive or professional gaming leagues. Due to the lack of dedicated servers and removal of the in-game developer console, gamers cannot finely tune their gaming servers, nor can they use the standard console commands that are needed for seamless competitive play. Join us after the break for the proposed list of changes that the new petition ask (demands?) of Infinity Ward.
