CoD: World at War Comes to the iPhone

Yes, I cheated; this screen is from the PC version.

It may be about a year late, but the Nazi zombies from Call of Duty: World at War have invaded the iPhone in all their glory. The iPhone game is quite impressive with 4-player co-op over the internet or locally. You can also play 2-player via Bluetooth. You can get the game through the iTunes store for a cool $9.99. View a quick screenshot after the break.

In Mr. T’s first World of Warcraft commercial, he claims to have hacked World of Warcraft to introduce a Mohawk class into the game to accommodate his Mohawk hair model. There was, of course, no class dubbed Mohawk, but now it seems this was just a cover story for something much, much bigger. Mr. T’s elaborate scheme to bring a Mohawk Grenade into the game was a success and now players can happily throw these comical grenades to give others a Mohawk! Read on after the break for the official Blizzard FAQ and advert.

Apple Black Friday Deals Leaked

apple-ipod

According to Boy Genius Report and a possible leaked Black Friday graphic, Apple will be holding some pretty sweet deals to patrons of select Apple stores on November 27th. If this is true, I would expect Apple to have one of the largest crowds this year, but I’m not going to be holding my breath on this one. The only catch is that iPhones and iPod Shuffles are left out of these deals. See the leaked flyer after the break.

We’re not sure how many iPhones were sacrificed, but using home buttons as earrings is a novel idea. Don’t jump on the wagon just yet, because you’ll have to pay 15 smackers to get pair.

When Bill Gates finds Steve Jobs' vacation castle.

After the launch of MW2, gamers were impressed, but bummed at the same time. With all the changes that Infinity Ward made to the game’s core function, it felt very restricted for the PC gamers. Well, it seems that some those guys have had enough, because one dedicated gamer has made a tweak that unlocks the in-game developer console, unleashing all manner of tweaks you could hope for. You can download the console tweak here, but use it at your own risk.

The second of these tweaks is the circumvention of IWnet, allowing players to play multiplyer without Infinity Ward’s matchmaking system, thus allowing players to game via LAN and essentially creating their own dedicated servers. It’s kind of complex, but head over here to check out the details. Again, this is no doubt a something that could get you banned through Steam’s VAC, so, use at your own risk!
