It looks like Windows 7 is making quite the difference in the OS world. According to web metrics company Net Applications, the use of Windows XP dropped by 1.45 percent last month and Windows Vista usage dropped by only 0.2 percent. At the end of November, XP accounts for 69.03 percent of the OS market, while Vista sat at 18.6 percent, and 3.98 percent for Windows 7, not bad for a brand new OS.
On a related note, Mac OS X dropped 0.16 percent to 5.11 percent and Linux climbed to a 1 percent share last month.
