A Look at Bigfoot’s Newest Project

Bigfoot Networks, a company known for their specialty ‘Killer’ network cards that eliminate lag in online gaming, have announced their newest project; Dashboard, a free program that monitors several different potentially lag-causing items and gives you informational readouts and history that will allow you to diagnose where your in-game lag is coming from so that you can easily fix it.
Currently, Dashboard offers a fresh, simple GUI that is packed with information and the program also offers a Logitech G15 LCD readout, allowing you to view the information real-time while gaming, but if you don’t have a G15 or G19, then you just need to make a note of when the lag occurred and then look through the program’s logs after you leave the game to find the cause of the lag.

With features like monitoring packet flow, in-game FPS (assuming you have FRAPS installed) and your CPU usage (and also Offloaded packets if you have a Killer Xeno Pro NIC), the program is an essential tool for anyone that may be experiencing game-ruining lag in their favorite online game. While at first I felt the program was a bit of a needless tool that ultimately didn’t offer a lot of help for most gamers, after a quick word with Bigfoot, I found that the program not only has great applications now, but that Bigfoot plans to continue supporting and upgrading Dashboard in the future.
There’s no reason you shouldn’t just try the program out yourself, it’s free! Head over to Bigfoot’s homepage for the (10 MB) download. And don’t forget to grab FRAPS (2 MB, unlimited free trial available) so that Dashboard can offer you complete informational coverage.

Awesome overview. :-D
I think that sums up Dashboard pretty well.
