I know, I know. Here at Tech Olive, we usually avoid rumors, but this one was hard to pass up. As most gamers will remember, rumors started even before Modern Warfare 2‘s release that the next Treyarch CoD would be based on the Vietnam War. These rumors quickly died out as no further information or speculation was seen, until now. According to CVG, this news has come straight from “a senior UK trade source” who confirms that “it’s going to be [a] November [release] again – just as with World At War and Modern Warfare 2,” and to expect themes extracted form popular Vietnam-based movies like Platoon and Apocalypse Now.

When contacted, Activision refused to comment on the rumors.
