Toshiba Expands 32nm SSD Lineup

A few months ago, Toshiba unveiled 30GB and 62GB models of 32nm SSDs that used the mini-SATA interface. The company has now announced a 128GB flavor with a max read speed of 130 MB/s and a write speed of 70 MB/s. You might think there’s nothing special about these drives, just another line of SSDs, but the 128GB model is said be one-seventh the size and one-eighth the weight of your normal 2.5-inch SSDs. No details have been given about price , but they are expected to ship Q2 of this year.
