Windows XP Users Will Not be Playing Just Cause 2

According to Steam-released system requirements for Just Cause 2, the game will have no support for Windows XP. It may be a deal that wreaks of Microsoft’s work, but is it really that unexpected? Developers are moving towards DirectX 10 and 11 now and XP is stuck in the DirectX 9 ages. No matter how hard it is to hear, perhaps this is the first sign of XP’s gaming life ending. Nobody can deny that Windows 7 is a worthy successor of XP (Vista was the adopted child that doesn’t count). Follow the break for Just Cause 2‘s system requirements.
