I recently let a friend borrow my LCD TV. When it was returned to me I was presented with new little scratches on the screen itself and one large deep scratch. How would I get these out? HELP ME OLIVE!!!

I’ve heard of a lot of ways to remove and fix scratches from an LCD screen, some myth and some actually true, but we think the fellas over at Hackosis have a couple of good ways to fix a dinged up screen. One is a quick-and-dirty method involving petroleum jelly and the other is a more thorough, permanent fix involving lacquer. Keep in mind that it’s extremely important that you use a microfiber, antistatic cloth when cleaning/fixing an LCD screen. Anything like paper towels with large fibers will scratch that sucker right up.

Dead Rising 2 Co-op Confirmed

Capcom just confirmed that Dead Rising 2 will feature co-op play, but the details were unclear as to how much of the game is geared for co-op. We would love to see a Left 4 Dead-style campaign co-op integration, but only time will tell. So that means you guys have until the August 31st release date to make a new friend.

“Co-op play is introduced to the Dead Rising universe for the first time as players can invite their friends to partner up with them at any time to take on the zombie massacre- tag-team style! Play with a friend and have even more fun as you lure zombies in using strategic items like a toy helicopter or a firecracker. Once the zombies have gathered, your friend can rain bullets from above or shoot at a strategically-placed gas tank to create a deadly explosion that will take out masses of the enemy. Killing zombies with a friend is always more fun!”

Epic Vid of the Week: Silent Drum

Epic Vid of the Week is a new weekly series that showcases an awesome video that we or our readers discover. Some you may have seen before and others you may have not. If you’ve discovered any videos that are worthy of an Epic Vid of the Week title, let us know!

Peruvian musician Jaime Oliver (not the English chef) has recently created what essentially is a drum looking thing that makes awesome, industrial noises. However, instead of beating it with your hand or a drumstick, you shape the flexible surface with your hands to make noises. A camera pointed up towards the bottom of the flexible surface measures all of the deflections made and then translates that into industrial music of sorts. Where the heck is Trent Reznor when you need him?

It seems like only yesterday when we told you about Valve’s announcement of their new Steam user interface. After two months being in beta, the new interface will officially release on Monday, April 26th. Enjoy the current interface while you can. Valve says the beta was “a huge success” thanks to 25,000 posts on the beta user forums. We’re guessing the update will come as any normal Steam client update and you probably won’t have a choice as to updating or sticking with the older version.

Razer RMA Process Update

Story continued from Mamba Files: Month 4 – The RMA Process.

On April 14th, two days after I notified Razer that I had received a faulty product as my RMA replacement, I receive a rather vague reply notifying me that a new unit has been shipped out. Don’t get me wrong, it was nice that Razer worked swiftly and did their best to remedy the situation as fast as possible, but it still felt very sterile and casual, as if this type of mix-up was nothing unusual for them.
