The beta for EA’s upcoming MMO racing game Need for Speed World has been running for several weeks and EA has finally announced release plans for the final game. The free-to-play MMO will release to the public on July 20th.

Now, as we said, this game will be completely free to play, but EA is offering some incentives to gamers willing to pay a one-time $20 premium fee. See, if you play the game for free, there’s a level cap that you can’t pass until you pay $20 for full access to the game. If you’re planning to pay this $20 to get the full and unlocked version of the game, then you should consider pre-ordering because you’ll be given early access to pre-tuned vehicles and many other goodies depending on your pre-order location:

@Jason Tsai, if I could comment on any involvement in the game’s beta, I’m sure I would share your enthusiasm. But, as it stands, there’s something known as a Non-disclosure Agreement that I may or may not have signed, so I can’t comment. ;)

@Tim Hage, lol they never said you couldn’t share any info and even if so what info is there to share? I’ve made like 30 youtube videos about this game’s closed beta since the first one and so far the responses have only been positive

@Jason Tsai, That was just an (annoyingly successful) attempt at copy-cat spam.

@Dylan Campton, lol It’s a lot like Most Wanted, if you played that one in the series. I really enjoyed the betas that I may or may not have participated in.
