How freakin’ awesome is this? When I opened up Firefox this morning and visited the Google homepage, I saw that the Google logo was celebrating the 30th anniversary of Pacman. Not only that, but the Pacman-Google logo is completely playable! And if Google wasn’t witty enough, they even changed the “I’m Feeling Lucky” button to “Insert Coin.” Clever, clever.

If you haven’t been to Google’s homepage yet today, you’ll definitely want to do that pronto.

We’re here with another unboxing and this time it’s Seagate’s updated line of external storage, the GoFlex Ultra-Portable Drive to be more specific. It’s actually pretty cool and we definitely like the interchangeable connectors/cables. Of course, we’ll talk more about that in our full review coming up in a few days, but to tide you over you can watch the unboxing after the break.

Google TV Announced

4 billion people in the world watch TV. That’s a lot of people. However, more and more users are watching TV right on their PCs, whether it’s streaming episodes or purchasing them off of iTunes. So, it’s really no surprise that Google is storming into the television market in a big way by combining the web and TV. The company has officially unveiled Google TV, a new way of watching television. You can simply search for a show that you want to watch and it’ll bring up TV listings of that show, as well as where to find episodes on the internet.

Google’s blog has all the details, as well a quick intro video. Check it out here.

F.E.A.R. 3 Second Trailer Hits

After the release of the first F3AR trailer, I was hoping that this second installment would move away from the distracting use of FMV and give us some solid gameplay. Well, it seems we have to suffer through more. While there is a solid amount of gameplay to be seen in the trailer, it’s far less than one would hope and you still have to sit through the cheesy dialogue and FMV just to get a few glimpses at the game. Anyway, now that you’ve completely lost interest in actually watching the trailer, you can check it out after the break.

Epic Vid of the Week: Mount St. Helens

Epic Vid of the Week is a weekly series that showcases an awesome video that we or our readers discover. Some you may have seen before and others you may have not. If you’ve discovered any videos that are worthy of an Epic Vid of the Week title, let us know!

This week’s Epic Vid is a thirty-year time lapse video that shows Mount St. Helens from an aerial view. It starts in 1979, a year before its big eruption, and then ends in 2009. The amazing thing is how much the land changes around the volcano every year.

As with Modern Warfare 2, those that pre-order Black Ops at Gamestop will receive a special poster, but this offer is only valid for the first 300,000 orders, so you’d better lock in your pre-order before they’re all taken!

While there are no details to support it, I think it’s safe to assume that, like the MW2 poster deal, you’ll have to head to a local Gamestop to get your free poster with your pre-order.

Seagate’s senior product manager Barbara Craig told Thinq that they would be “announcing a 3TB drive later this year.” We have no other details except for some issues that some users may come across when they get this hard drive into their grubby little hands. For starters, you’ll need either a 64-bit copy of Windows Vista, Windows 7 or a “modified version of Linux.” Windows XP will be left in the dust on this one. Seagate is hoping that other manufacturers like motherboard makers will work quickly to have the 3TB HDD supported, which means that the projected release period of “later this year” could easily get delayed.
