We knew “something big” was coming from Seagate, but we had no idea what until now. Earlier this evening, the storage company unveiled the GoFlex line of products that include ultra-portable drives, desktop external drives, an HD media player, and a media sharing device.

The GoFlex hard drives range from 320GB to 2TB starting at $100 and going all the way up to $200. These drives are special in a way that they’re simultaneously compatible with both Mac and Windows and can support USB 2.0, USB 3.0, FireWire, and eSATA through “upgrade cables” that you can purchase starting at $20.

The GoFlex HD media player seems to simply be like the FreeAgent HD media player, but will support the GoFlex HDDs. This will be priced at $130, but there will most likely be bundle packs with HDDs included in the near future.

Last but not least, the GoFlex Net media sharing device is seems to be an updated version of the DockStar, which we reviewed awhile ago. It’ll work with any USB storage device, similar to a PogoPlug device.

UPDATE: Seagate added a Flickr photo set of the all new equipment. Check ‘em out here.

After already getting tons of post-release support, it seems Bioware has not yet stopped the stream of new content for Dragon Age because they’ve announced the upcoming release of the Darkspawn Chronicles on May 18th. Unfortunately, the only other detail released was that it will cost 400MSP when it hits Xbox Live. It’s safe to assume that the DLC will also release for PC, but it’s possible that it will cost gamers.

Just another example of why the world is crumbling before us. According to Business Insider, Zynga, maker of FarmVille and other Facebook games, issued shares the other day that put the value of the game developer at $4 billion. Of course, FarmVille isn’t the only game that Zynga has available on Facebook. They’re also the maker of Mafia Wars, FishVille, Treasure Isle, and more, but FarmVille is definitely their flagship game with over 80 million players.

Gmail Coming Back to the UK

For those Americans that are confused right now, Gmail is actually known as Google Mail in the UK. Google couldn’t use the Gmail name because of a trademark issue, but now they say that the gmail.com suffix is coming back to the British territory. UK Gmail users now have the option to switch to a gmail.com address or they can stick with what they’re used to, which is the googlemail.com suffix. Any new signups for the mail service will automatically get a gmail.com address.

Google says this transition “will save approximately 60 million keystrokes a day. At about 217 microjoules per keystroke, that’s about the energy of 20 bonbons saved every day!”

A couple months ago, Adobe blew our minds with a video sneak peek at their new feature in Photoshop CS5, Content-Aware Fill (or as I like to call it, God Mode). Content-Aware Fill gives the user the ability to seemingly remove anything out of a photo, and Photoshop would magically fill in the gap.

CS5 finally released and needless to say, Content-Aware Fill was the very first tool I wanted to try. I scanned quickly through my library of images and pulled out a photo that I took last year. I love the photo, but there’s a few things I was eager to take out.
