After we found out that Fable 3 would be hitting the PC, we desperately waited for a release date. During Microsoft’s E3 press conference earlier today, the company announced that Lionhead Studios would be delivering the new fantasy RPG on October 26th.

The release of Fable 3 for PC marks Microsoft’s return to publishing PC games after having been out of the business of almost three years. Their last published PC game was Gears of War in 2007.

The next, anticipated installment of Assassin’s Creed is here in trailer form just in time for E3. We also get a glimpse at the end of the trailer of when the game will be hitting store shelves, which will be November 16th. Mark your calendars and view the trailer after the jump.

UPDATE: Big Download makes a good point about the PC port of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. According to past Assassin’s Creed PC ports, they didn’t come out until a couple months after the initial release of the game. So it’s very possible that we won’t see the PC version of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood until well after November 16th.

Promising to bring realistic settings and licensed cars together with battle-style racing similar to that of Mario Kart and being developed by the team behind the fantastic Project Gotham Racing series on the Xbox, it was still hard to know just what to expect. Hopefully we’ll put to rest the questions you might have.

So maybe it’s a good thing that Portal 2 will miss its October 26th release date; less competition for our valuable time!
