Flash Game Friday: Anaksha: Female Assassin

Flash Game Friday is a weekly feature that provides gamers with (uh…duh) a free, browser-based flash game. You may have played it before and you may have not, but it’s always worth checking out. We’ll be bringing you the latest, time-wasting, challenging, lose-sleep-into-the-wee-hours type of flash games.

While most flash games find you setting up tower defenses, saving lost kittens, parking cars, and countless other combinations of mostly casual and brightly-colored gameplay, if you look hard enough, you might just find some flash games for the FPS gamers in the world. Cue Anaksha: Female Assassin.

In Anaksha, you take the role of a female vigilante that has been forced to take justice into her own hands due to the corruption and evil within the city of Santa Lina. Cliche, sure, but don’t write it off so quickly. The game’s ability to fill ones craving for mindless violence is nearly unmatched. However, bloody violence aside, Anaksha is packed with good writing, very stylized cut scenes, and brilliantly satisfying gameplay. On top of that, the game is very rewarding when you actually take down the right target with your scoped rifle from a rooftop across the street.

So, if this sounds like your cup of tea, head over to the game’s Newgrounds page and deal out some vigilante rooftop-sniping justice of your own!
