There have been several reports that Ubisoft’s fighter jet sim Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. 2 has been delayed yet again to mid-November. Many readers on the game’s official forum have said that they’ve received emails from Ubisoft stating that the PC release date as been pushed back to November 16th. Further proof can be seen on the game’s Steam page, which has H.A.W.X. 2 slated for simply a “Fall 2010″ release, instead of the September 30th date that once was displayed.

No official word from Ubisoft yet, but it’s only a matter of time before they address this head-scratching situation.

We knew this day would come eventually. Once the industry reached the 1TB mark, it was only a matter of time before 1.5TB would be the pinnacle. Seagate today announced the world’s first 1.5TB portable external hard drive. Adding onto their portable GoFlex line, this 1.5TB model does all the same things that a GoFlex drive is known for; interchangeable transfer cables and the ability to write on both PCs and Macs. However, we’re interested to see what kind of speeds thisĀ  baby can deploy.

The 1.5TB portable GoFlex drive comes with a USB 3.0 adapter and is out now in the U.S. for $250. It will be available later this year globally.

While the game itself has not been delayed, word has been released that Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will not come with online co-op when it releases next week on the 28th. Instead, that feature will be added at “a later date.” It’s safe to assume that co-op will be Crystal Dynamics’ first priority after the game releases, so it shouldn’t be too long of a wait.

Also, a reminder for gamers that signed up for early demo access through GameSpot; you should get your demo keys today, so keep an eye on your email accounts.

Developer Bizarre Creations seem to be using combat and takedowns that are very similar to the ones that we saw in Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell: Conviction earlier this year. Whether this is a good thing is for you to decide. Hit the break to view the trailer.

Earlier at IDF, Intel quietly announced future plans for their Atom line of processors. More specifically, they plan to shrink the Atom CPU to a minuscule 15 nanometers, which is approximately the width of 60 atoms. That’s tiny! Currently, Intel’s most premium chips are 32 nanometers, so thinking about how that will be cut in half is astonishing.

No timeline was given as to when these planned 15-nanometer CPUs will come about, but we can only dream for now.
