Facebook is Most Visited Website of 2010

For the first time ever, Facebook has been named the most visited website of the year for 2010, raking in more hits than Google, Yahoo and YouTube. Last year Facebook was the third most visited behind Google and Yahoo Mail. The term “facebook” was also the most searched term in 2010.

Looking at the list on TechCrunch, should the subdomains be included with their respected domians? IE. mail.yahoo.com came in third while yahoo.com came in fourth…mail.yahoo.com is the same thing as yahoo.com just a subdomain of its main domain…

@PT – Apparently they treat subdomains separately.
