Steam announced their newest community event for gamers to save money and win free games. The Great Steam Treasure Hunt — running from December 6th to December 20th — challenges gamers with in-game objectives every 48 hours. After two days, the challenges and games involved change. For completing these tasks, you get the chance to win anywhere from 5 to 100 games from Steam, and there’s even some appeal for hat collectors, with some exclusive Team Fortress 2 hats being offered.
