Founded on the 29th day of September in the year of our lord two thousand and eight A.D., Tech Olive’s primary goals are to impress the ladies, take over the world, and last but certainly least, write about computers, PC gaming and anything else computer related. Our staff is dedicated to finding out why girls are so mean and in their free time, they try their best to write the highest quality articles they can. If we were a printed publication, we would be your first choice for the very best improvised toilet paper.
Here’s what people are saying about us:
“Tech Olive is a site that should be bookmarked by any gamer or tech-junkie. It is one of my daily reads and they keep me current with up-to-date information on gadgets, games and tech news. They do thorough, un-biased reviews that make them a trustworthy source. I would recommend to anyone in the industry that they make Tech Olive a daily visit.” — David French

Hey everyone. As mentioned, I am the Editor-in-Chief here at the Olive. I basically make sure my slaves are doing their jobs and sometimes whip them horribly if they’re slacking. Besides that, I write random articles when I feel I like it and basically overlook the entire website and make sure it’s functioning properly and people are happy. I’m currently attending college and studying Media and Public Communication. I’ve been a “geek” since I was about 15 and show no signs of slowing down. Besides Tech Olive, I’m an editor for the student newspaper at my university.
As the resident gamer here at Tech Olive, you would be correct in assuming that I have neither a life, nor a natural tan. Apparently this tan from my screen doesn’t count, but back on topic. I am your go-to guy for gaming info. I’ve been tinkering with PCs since age 14 and have been gaming since 8. I also dabble in console gaming with my Xbox 360, but not nearly as much as PC. More often than not, it’s usually only for a quick retro fix with my PS1 or N64. I also have a hobby of graphic designing, which comes in handy here on the Olive. I have designed much of the general interface and the graphics within.
Hi, I’m Jakob, but feel free to call me Jake, just as long as you don’t call me Jake. I’ve been tinkering with electronics and computers since I was around 9 or 10. About few years back I started coding in C# and played around with web design. I help out mostly with the coding and scripting of Tech Olive and write news pieces for HackADay.com. I’m not all business though. I enjoy gaming every free second I get and hope to pursue a career in game programming. Ya know, your typical every day programming (ethical) hacker, web design and geeky gamer.
