It’s no secret that in-game achievements are used as a dirty, but shockingly effective method of making a game last longer, simply because you’re spending all that time working to get three headshots with one bullet while you’re falling through a tear in the time-space continuum as Doc Brown says “Great Scott!” to unlock that one last achievement. It seems this exploit on the human race’s desire to achieve can be taken a step further. Why not make an entire game about unlocking achievements? And, since that went over so well, why not make a second game? Crazy, right?

And it’s this idea that we’ve built a new weekly feature around! Flash Game Friday functions much like our Bargain Bin articles, but rather than telling you about the greatest deals under $10, we offer you a free, browser-based time-waster every Friday (starting tomorrow!) for your gaming pleasure. Our good friend Audrey Gruen will be the one conducting this weekly feature. You might remember some of her stuff in the past. She wrote our Sims 3 review, as well as posted a great tip on unlinking Twitter accounts with Facebook fan pages.
